Where does it come from?
- We generate millions of tonnes of plastic waste every year and the worldwide average is only about 13% being recycled or reused.
- Much of this plastic is single use plastic such as bags and bottles.

Task 1: What is plastic
The teacher will give you a plastic item. On A3 paper Write down all the things that it is. On the opposite side of the A3 paper, draw all the representations of plastic they can think of in a group Task 2 Plastic survey List all the plastic you use in a typical week. Try to estimate the volume of your plastic use in it's weight Task 3: Complete the Ocean plastic quiz on your left. Task 4: Biodegradation guessing game: Estimate the answers in the presentation on your left. How many can you guess correctly. Task 5: Summary Tweet Summarise your learning in a 250 character tweet. Write this in your notebook. |
